Learning to Advocate for Cancer Services

The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center has invited Carolyn Hammer, the grassroots coordinator for Maine and New Hampshire for the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network to make a presentation at the Down East Community Hospital’s Conference Room on Tuesday May 15 at 1:00.

The Cancer Action Network, the non-profit, non partisan advocacy affiliate of the American Cancer Society, supports evidence-based policy and legislative solutions designed to eliminate cancer as a major health problem. ACS CAN works to encourage elected officials and candidates to make cancer a top national priority. Come and find out how you can aid in this endeavor.
