FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine — Richard Langley is happy to announce his retirement effective June 30, after 40 years in private practice in Fort Fairfield. Attorney Langley is also pleased to announce that his practice is being taken over by Attorney Christine M. Smith effective July 1.
Smith is a native of Aroostook County. She graduated from Presque Isle High School and the University of Maine at Presque Isle before graduating from the University of Maine School of Law in 2008. Currently, she resides in Easton with her husband Mathew Perkins.
Smith has been the attorney at the Hope and Justice Project in Presque Isle for the past five years focused on family law. She plans to expand her practice in Fort Fairfield and will provide a wide range of legal services to the community including divorce, child custody, and criminal law as part of her general practice.
