Your votes mattered!!!! The horses at Last Stop Horse Rescue will be receiving a grant for $1000 dollars from the Bangor Savings Foundation Community Matters to purchase 27 round bales of hay thanks to the many supporters who voted. A representative from Bangor Savings called the rescue last week to let us know that so many of our supporters voted that we received the most write in votes in the Northern Penobscot Region. Thank you so much for taking the time to vote, to share the on line voting instructions with family and friends, and for making a difference in the lives of the horses at Last Stop Horse Rescue. We had to keep the results a secret until the lists were published, but now that they have been, we can tell everyone who voted that their votes mattered. Thank you for making a difference. We are so honored to have received the top write in votes in the Northern Region in 2012, 2013, and 2014 thanks to all of you who voted. Your voices have been heard that Last Stop Horse Rescue is a 501c3 public charity that you support. Last Stop Horse Rescue is strictly a horse rescue with no other equine business on site, and Joyce and I volunteer 100% of our time to care for the horses at the rescue. All donations go directly to the care of rescued horses who live a life of sanctuary on 20 acres at the rescue in Prentiss, Maine. Thank you so much for supporting our mission to save horses from abuse, starvation, and neglect. We will continue to make a difference in the lives of horses in need. We thank you!
