Fairfield, ME – Kennebec Valley Community College (KVCC) will hold its first-ever “Admit in a Day” event July 24 giving potential students a one-stop option for enrolling in a program for the fall 2014 semester.
The event will be held from 1-5 p.m. in the King Hall Campus Center on the Fairfield campus. Those interested should plan to bring an official sealed copy of their high school transcript, immunization records, and 2013 federal tax forms and W-2 forms.
The event is free and open to the public and the application fee will be waived for those attending.
“We have had a lot of demand for an event of this sort over the years,” KVCC Dean of Students Karen Normandin said. “We decided to create an event with some elements of a traditional summer open house but with all the resources and information necessary for students to enroll in a program in one afternoon.”
Prospective students will be guided by professional advisors as they take placement tests, fill out applications, apply for financial aid, and be reviewed for admission in a four hour period.
Anyone with questions about the event should call 453-5822. Updated information will also be posted on the college web site at kvcc.me.edu.
