Karate classes through Bangor Parks and Rec

BANGOR, Maine — The Bangor Parks and Recreation, along with Pine Tree Karate, is accepting registrations for its September and/or October Karate Classes for both beginner and experienced participants.

Beginner classes are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings starting Sept. 4. The Beginner Tiny Dragons class is from 4 to 5 p.m. for ages 6-8. A Beginner Junior Karate Class is for ages 9-12 from 5 to 6 p.m. Beginner adults 18 and older can join the Monday classes from 6 to 8 p.m. starting Sept. 9.

For those who are more experienced, classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tiny Dragons ages 7-8, from 4 to 5 p.m.; Junior Karate, ages 9-12, from 5 to 6 p.m.; and Adult Karate from 6 to 7 p.m.

The fees for all classes are $60 per month for Bangor residents and $65 for non residents. All classes are held at the Parks and Rec Center at 647 Main St. For more information please visit www.bangorparksandrec.com or call the office at 992-4490.
