Junior Achievement of Maine gearing up for 8th Annual Titan Challenge

Junior Achievement is gearing up for the 8th Annual JA Titan Challenge on Wednesday, February 12, 2013 as part of Maine Entrepreneurship Week. All Maine High Schools are invited to participate in this day long competition, free of charge. Currently 90 teams from 25 Maine High Schools are registered.

The JA Titan Challenge is a unique online business competition that puts high school students in the leadership seat to run a virtual company. Each three student team takes on the role of CEO, CFO, and Marketing R&D as they directly compete with the other teams to successfully sustain their business. Each team is matched with a business mentor from the community to guide them through decision making. Through four rounds of competition, the top three teams will be awarded scholarships generously donated by MES-Maine Education Services.
