“Marley was dead to begin with…” – and what happens to Ebenezer Scrooge’s mean, sour, pruney old business partner after that? Shackled Marley is condemned to a hellish eternity. He’s even given his own private tormentor; a little hell-sprite who thoroughly enjoys his work. Desperate he accepts his only way out. To free himself he must first redeem old Scrooge. So begins the journey in this irreverent, funny, and deeply moving story. The play by Tom Mula, which won the Cunningham Prize , is presented by the Union Street Brick Church on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 11 & 12, at 7 pm and Sunday, Dec. 13 at 3:30 pm. Refreshments will be served and there is no admission charge. For more information please call Charelene, 991-4477.
