Bangor, Maine – Rosscare’s LiveSAFE program has funding available to assist seniors and disabled community members who may be in need of a help button, but are unable to afford this valuable lifesaving service.

LiveSAFE is a personal emergency response service that provides help 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, allowing people to live independently in their own home, where they are most comfortable. With a simple push of a button, calls are answered by a central call center in Maine. If the call center operator determines emergency assistance is needed, an immediate call is made to local dispatch, fire, police, or ambulance.

Currently, the monthly service for LiveSAFE is $32/month. Sponsorship funding provides $10/month, reducing the subscriber fee to $22/month. Potential subscribers with a family size of one that have an annual income that is at or below $17,235 are eligible.
