Ham and bean-hole bean supper June 21

EDDINGTON, Maine — A ham and bean-hole bean supper will be held with servings at 5 and 6 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at Eddington Clifton Civic Center, Comins Hall, 1387 Main Road, Route 9. Tickets are $7 for adults and teens; $3 for children. The menu will include baked ham, bean-hole beans, small beans, potato salad, American chop suey, cole slaw, rolls, brown bread and handcrafted pies and cakes. Proceeds will help fund needed repairs to and regular maintenance of Comins Hall. Current projects include storm windows and resetting the foundation granite blocks. This year is a celebration of 135 years of serving the community. Eddington Clifton Civic Center is on the National Register of Historic Places. Check out the bean pit and relax on handmade benches outside. Dine in air-conditioned comfort in the first floor dining room. Handicap accessible.
