Georges River Trout Unlimited to offer Trout Unlimited memberships at film festival

ROCKLAND — Georges River Trout Unlimited is offering free Trout Unlimited membership to all new members who complete and submit an application during the International Fly Fishing Film Festival (IF4) event Thursday, April 25, at the Strand Theatre in Rockland.

Join more than 300,000 members and supporters dedicated to protecting, reconnecting and restoring North America’s trout and salmon fisheries. Membership includes Trout magazine published quarterly, TU Member card and decal, discount on fishing gear, travel and more, member-only giveaways and sweepstakes, and local chapter membership.

The International Fly Fishing Film Festival consists of short and feature-length films produced by professional filmmakers from all corners of the globe, showcasing the passion, lifestyle and culture of fly fishing. It is a must-see experience for fly fishermen and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Films start rolling at 7 p.m.  General admissions tickets are $12, $8 for students.
