Girl Scout Troop 533 holds Awards Ceremony

Searsmont Troop 533 held their Badge Ceremony on May 22nd at the Searsmont Community Center. The Troop worked hard selling cookies this year. Thank you to all who purchased cookies. With a portion of the profits from their cookie sale, they chose to give a $200 donation to Expanding Opportunities. This contribution will support a 9 year old girl, Juliza, in Kenya, Africa. She will be able to attend a boarding primary school, receive 3 meals a day and have a place to live.
