YARMOUTH — Freedom Boat Club of Maine won multiple awards at this year’s National Franchise Conference in Sarasota, Florida. In its second year of operations, the Maine club earned the Pacesetter Award by exceeding financial benchmarks including minimum revenue increase of 30 percent year-over-year above $150,000.
In addition, Freedom Boat Club of Maine’s marketing director, Tracy Coughlin, was recognized as the Marketing National Brand Champion for her hard work and commitment to promoting the Freedom Boat Club brand at the local level.
“We set our sights on earning the Pacesetter Award after last year’s conference so I’m really proud that we achieved that goal,” said Steve Arnold, owner of the Maine Freedom Boat Club locations. “Opening our third location after just a year was a challenge, but we have a talented, dedicated team. They worked hard to ensure our success and grow the business in a positive way. Earning the marketing award on top of that was icing on the cake.”
“This year’s franchise conference was a terrific blend of celebrating the past year while looking ahead to an exciting, growth-filled 2020,” said John Giglio, Freedom Boat Club president. “In my 16 years with the club, the growth of Freedom Boat Club has been amazing to watch over. We have been fortunate to connect with great partners like Steve and his team to solidify Freedom Boat Club’s position as the top boat club in the Northeast and throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.”
