PORTLAND, Maine — WordCamp Maine’s inaugural event will occur Aug. 15-17, in Portland,. The event will feature talks, demonstrations, and workshops centered around the popular web content management system WordPress. Keynote speaker for the event will be John Eckman, CEO of 10up (10up.com).
Friday, Aug. 15: Foundation Day will feature workshops for users who are new to WordPress or need to get reacquainted with the platform.
Saturday, Aug. 16: A partial list of companies represented by speakers include 10up, Sucuri, iThemes, Parka, WooThemes, Bangor Daily News, MaineToday Media, InMotion Hosting, and a keynote presentation by John Eckman, CEO of 10up. The evening will feature an after party cruise around Casco Bay.
Sunday, Aug. 17: Contributors’ Day to learn how to contribute code to the WordPress Core project.
