The second annual running of Erin’s Run will take place on the Bangor Waterfront on Saturday, May 3rd starting at 10:00 am. The event celebrates the life of Erin Woolley, a Bangor native and University of Maine graduate who died of cancer in 2010.

Participants can register at www.erinsrun.org or on race day for $25. All participants will receive an Erin’s Run T-shirt while supplies last. The course can be run or walked and prizes will be given to top male and female finishers.

All proceeds from the event are donated to Spruce Run, a domestic violence resource center in Bangor where Erin worked, and a program to honor Erin through the University of Maine Swimming and Diving Program, of which Erin was a member.

More information can be found at www.erinsrun.org or www.facebook.com/erinsrunbangor or by contacting Race Director Ben Sprague at bsprague1@gmail.com or (207) 852-1405.
