Crisis & Counseling Centers name director of development, PR

AUGUSTA, Maine – Crisis & Counseling Centers has announced that Randy Moser has been named as director of Development and Public Relations effective on April 1.

Moser has been with the agency for three years as its marketing manager and has a background in journalism, Internet marketing and public relations. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Maine and master’s degree from the University of New Hampshire.

“Randy has been an asset throughout his time with us, developing new materials, designing our all-new website and e-newsletter and publicizing the great work C&C does,” said CEO Lynn Duby.

“He’s a team player with a real passion for the agency.”

Moser served as marketing manager at Telco Community Credit Union in Asheville, N.C., prior to moving into the marketing manager position three years ago. In the past, he has been an editor at Foster’s Daily Democrat, the York Weekly and the York Independent as well as managing the largest tourism website in Western North Carolina.

Crisis & Counseling Centers is a private, nonprofit social service agency licensed by the State of Maine as a comprehensive mental health and substance abuse treatment facility. With clinical programs operating out of nine locations, the organization is the sole provider of 24-hour mobile crisis response and stabilization in Kennebec and Somerset counties, responding to more than 1,000 calls each month; provides outpatient treatment to approximately 1,000 individuals each year; provides integrated medical and behavioral healthcare at  Kennebec County Correctional Facility; and provides family support services statewide.
