Common Good Ventures welcomes Carol Walker Aten as senior consultant

PORTLAND, Maine — Recently relocated to Portland, Carol Walker Aten joined Common Good Ventures team as a senior consultant in January. Carol has more than 20 years of practical and strategic experience as a nonprofit executive, community and board leader.

She leads capacity building work with Common Good Venture’s clients utilizing organizational development, strategic planning, facilitation and leadership coaching skills.

Her professional experience includes nonprofit management, family foundation trustee, a community bank corporator, as well as local and state volunteer involvement with chamber of commerce, nonprofit boards, service clubs and municipal budget committees. Carol is a graduate of Leadership New Hampshire and Leadership Seacoast. She has served on the board of Leadership Seacoast for four years, most recently as board chair.
