Crafters, artisans, consultants, organizations, and the like are invited to take part in the Arts and Craft Fair as part of the 42nd Annual International Homecoming Festival. This Arts and Craft Fair event will be held along Calais’ beautiful Waterfront Walkway on Sunday, August 9th.

The event was a smash-hit during last year’s festivities, and due to popular demand, additional space along the waterfront has been opened up to allow for more artisans this year. This is the only year spaces are available to select artisans at no charge.

In addition to this event, many others will take place in the same vicinity on this final day of the festival. Several inflatable slides and bounce houses will line the waterfront for children, along with free pony rides and a free petting place. Kids will also enjoy taking part in many other no cost events, including a K9 demonstration, laser tag, a doll carriage and bike parade, a characters in costume march, a candy scramble, and a story time and numerous other activities.

Adults will not only enjoy the great view of St. Stephen, New Brunswick and the fun atmosphere, but will also enjoy the sounds of live music from Pete and Noelle Gould, one of the area’s finest duos, in addition to Calais-girl and Nashville recording artist Meghan Clark, among others. Folks are encouraged to bring a chair to enjoy this free entertainment. The festival will end with the spectacular Duty Free Americas, Hardwicke’s Fireworks Display at the riverfront over the St. Croix River.
