The Town of Pittsfield and the Sebasticook Valley Chamber of Commerce invite you to attend a Business Resources Night in Pittsfield, either as a business with a booth, or just to come and browse the displays. The event is being held at the Warsaw Middle School Gym at 167 School Street. There will be business resources for everyone. This event is being offered to the region so that businesses can connect with each other and the public can learn about our region’s businesses.

Agenda for the evening:
5:30 – 6:00 pm Set-up of Booths and Tables for Displays
6:00 – 7:45 pm Browse displays, learn about businesses, pick up items & networking 6:00 – 7:45 pm Refreshments and socializing
7:45 – 8:15 pm Brief Presentations and discussions with resource providers

Free Table & Display Space
Free admission to the public

The main functions of the evening are:
1. To promote your business
2. Showcase your business if you would like a table
3. Network with other businesses
4. Have resource providers from the region, state and federal government available who have programs to offer assistance to your business.

Guest speakers later in the evening are Brian Mulligan, Governor’s Account Executive from the State of Maine Department of Economic and Community Development; William Card, Economic Development Specialist from the Small Business Administration; and Janet Roderick, Certified Business Counselor from the Maine Small Business Development Center.

Businesses can stay for the entire evening, have table space to display their business/offerings which may help to draw in new customers or come for awhile to look over the displays and network. Obtaining table space to display your business offering is easy. We just need to know if your business can share a table or needs its own table and if the business needs electricity for its display. Registration deadline is Friday, March 28, 2014 at 5:00 pm.

In addition, the Town and Chamber of Commerce will be advertising the event to the public so there will be citizens and other businesses attending to look around at the displays. The sooner businesses sign up, the more publicity they will receive.
