Broadreach Public Relations enhances client service team with new hires and promotions

PORTLAND —  Broadreach Public Relations, a strategic communications advisory firm located in Portland, announced several promotions and additions to its client service team. The moves signal continued growth for the organization, which is now in its 11th year.

Emily Colt was promoted to Senior Client Associate. As a senior client associate, Emily assists with client and media relations, strategic and tactical planning, and social media development and execution. Emily joined Broadreach from Weber Shandwick, a global public relations firm in Chicago, where she served on a global consumer technology team developing brand management programs for a variety of clients, including product launches, layoffs, and activations. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Cedarville University (OH).

Josiah Petrin was promoted to Client Manager. Petrin joined Broadreach in 2015 from global strategic communications firm Sard Verbinnen in New York City. Beginning as an apprentice, he was eventually brought on full-time, and most recently held the position of client associate. In his new role, Petrin serves as the daily point of contact for several clients in the professional services industries, developing and executing unique communication strategies to achieve their organizational goals and demonstrating success through analytics-based reporting. Josiah holds Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Southern Maine.

Emily Goldthwait was hired as a Public Relations and Social Media Associate. As the newest addition to the Broadreach team, Emily specializes in social media content planning and creation, and client relations. Emily graduated from Rollins College (FL) with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a concentration in Public Relations. Prior to graduating and moving back to Maine, she worked as an editorial intern with Occasions Media Group in St. Augustine, Florida.
