Blue Hill Heritage Trust to hold auction for accessible trail at Caterpillar Hill

BLUE HILL — The Blue Hill Heritage Trust will host an auction 5-9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, Boatyard Grill, 13 East Blue Hill Road.

Monies raised will go towards an accessible trail at Caterpillar Hill in Sedgwick. This will include parking modifications, a gravel walking path, and benches so everyone in our community can enjoy this treasured and iconic landmark. Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap will serve as the auctioneer that evening.

Visit the trust’s website to see a preview of several of the auction items which range in value from $50-$15,000 and include sailboats, windsurfers, vacation rentals, artwork, firewood, pottery, wine, flowers and experiences with local experts:

Tickets are on sale now for a BBQ buffet ($25/person, kids eat free). There will be a cash bar courtesy of Boatyard Grill, and live music from New Shades Of Blue.
