BerryDunn names new principals

PORTLAND, Maine – July 2014 – BerryDunn is pleased to announce the election of four new principals, Ed Daranyi, Julie Keim, Chad Snow, and Seth Webber. Their promotions recognize excellence in client service, staff development, and leadership in their respective practice areas. Additionally, Frank O’Shea was re-elected to the firm’s Management Committee.

Ed Daranyi brings more than 15 years’ experience providing project oversight of large-scale technology initiatives to public sector agencies. He has served in a project management and quality assurance capacity for Medicaid projects in Maine, Iowa, and West Virginia. He has also done project management-related work in New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Vermont.

Julie Keim has been with BerryDunn for nearly 20 years, specializing in the communications and energy industries. She provides audit and attest services, financial statement preparation and analysis, financial forecasts and projections, and cost separation and interstate access charges studies for telecommunications clients.

Chad Snow has more than 19 years of local government experience. As the head of BerryDunn’s local government consulting practice he has worked with more than 60 municipal and county governments across the country on technology initiatives, ranging from large-scale systems planning and implementation to strategic technology planning and assessments.

Seth Webber specializes in valuing privately held companies, bringing an in-depth understanding of strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions. Drawing on 15 years of consulting, operations, and valuation experience, he assists clients with ESOP transactions and transition planning efforts, as well as providing expert witness services on valuation matters to clients and attorneys.

Frank O’Shea was re-elected to a third term on the firm’s Management Committee. BerryDunn leaders are selected by their peers for their ability to combine technical expertise, strategic vision, and client and employee relationship skills. BerryDunn’s Management Committee Members (a team of four principals) and the firm’s Managing Principal function as the firm’s Board of Directors.
