Bangor Christian School’s Salutatorian is Parker Shaw, son of Aaron and Betsey Shaw of Bangor. Parker has served his school community the past several years volunteering in the first grade classroom as an Elementary Aid. He has also been the Vice President of his Class for two years.  He has also been an active member of the National Honor Society the past two years. His school involvement does not end with volunteering in the elementary but continues through participating in drama for his entire high school career and participating in the varsity soccer, basketball, and track all four years. Parker was a captain for those sports his senior year. Outside of school, Parker is an active member of the worship team at Crosspoint Church and Thrive ministries.  Parker is a recipient of the PVC Scholar Athlete Award and also the Phi Beta Kappa Academic Award. Parker is excited to attend The University of Maine in Orono this fall where he will be majoring in chemical engineering with The Pulp and Paper Scholarship.
