Bring the whole family and join Downeast Lakes Land Trust staff as we celebrate the quintessential New England fruit – the apple! On Monday, October 9th, DLLT hosts the 3rd annual Apple Harvest Day by harvesting the annual autumn bounty of apples, complete with apple cider pressing, bobbing for apples, apple-themed baked goods, and other children’s apple activities. The festivities get started at 12 pm and will run all afternoon at the Montague’s Barn, next to the Grand Lake Stream Historic Museum. This event is free, and open to everyone. For more information, please contact Downeast Lakes Land Trust at (207) 796 – 2100 or email email@example.com.
