Why wait until the last minute to get qualified for an exciting and rewarding job as a lifeguard? The MDI YMCA is going to help you get a jump on the competition with a full American Red Cross Lifeguarding course over the holiday vacation.
If you’re 15 or older, a strong swimmer, looking for a great summer job, or a very flexible part-time job during the rest of the year, consider becoming a lifeguard. This certification isn’t easy to achieve and is recognized across the country and beyond. Many of our former swimmers have gone on to lifeguard while in college – a great part-time job to help make ends meet.
The class will be held at the MDI YMCA, 21 Park Street, Bar Harbor, ME. on Friday, Saturday, and Tuesday, December 26th, 27th, and 30th from 9am-5pm. You must attend all 3 days. The cost is $225 for members of the MDI YMCA and $250 for non-members. If you’re interested, please contact Mark Schoon, Aquatics Director, MDI YMCA, firstname.lastname@example.org (207) 288-3511 for more details.
