This headstone awaits restoration as part of the DAR Tolman Cemetery project in Rockland. Kate Marshall, of Nevada, came to Tolman Cemetery to view her patriot ancestor’s grave. She found the gravestone of Benjamin Blackington (1749-1812) in several pieces, broken away from the double headstone with his wife, Eunice Woodcock (1743-1815).
