Police say three adults and a child escaped serious injury after their car crashed into a Maine church.
The crash occurred Tuesday night at the First Baptist Church in Westbrook. The Portland Press Herald reports police say the car failed to yield to traffic while crossing an intersection.
According to the Westbrook Police Department, the driver lost control and wrecked the car by crashing into the church at the intersection of Main and Stroudwater streets.
The child in the car was not injured, though the three adult passengers were treated for minor injuries. Police did not identify the passengers or say whether the driver received a citation.
