A researcher at London School of Economics built a quiz with ClearerThinking.org that he says helps to identify your “bias blind spots” when it comes to thinking about political issues.

Everyone has his or her own way of looking at the world, but research shows that we struggle to accept facts about political issues if they don’t fit our beliefs.

The hard part is identifying our biases.

That’s where this quiz comes in.

It’s based on research by Stefan Schubert of the LSE, and asks a series of questions about your political leanings and knowledge. After taking it, the site shows a breakdown of where you show bias, as well as how you rate when it comes to political knowledge.

“The eighteen questions concern empirical facts and have a correct answer, but at the same time, they are politically controversial,” the quiz explains.
