WOODSTOCK, Maine — A Woodstock woman who had been missing since Wednesday has been found safe.

An Oxford County communications center dispatcher confirmed Sunday afternoon that the woman had been found, but referred other questions to the sheriff’s office. A telephone message was left with an officer.

The Facebook page for Kathleen Zurzolo also was updated Sunday afternoon to state that she had been found alive. The message thanked people for their prayers and support.

She had been reported missing by family members Wednesday and the Sheriff’s Office said it had searched her home, neighborhood and interviewed family and friends.

Woodstock is located near Bethel in western Maine, and has a population of nearly 1,300 people.
