LINCOLN – Gloria M. Thibodeau, 91, died Aug 27, 2014 at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Feb. 6, 1923, in Bangor, the daughter of Raymond and Marjorie (Libby) Tardiff.
Gloria was a librarian at Mattanawcook Junior High in Lincoln. She enjoyed the library and the many teachers that she worked with. She was Past Regent (two times) of the Daughters of Isabella, twice. She worked for the Bangor Daily News as a photographer and court reporter. She was active for many years at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lincoln. She loved her family and enjoyed gatherings at her camp.
She is survived by her children, Paul Thibodeau and his wife, Tricia, Diane Thibodeau Boone and her husband, Ronald, Bernard Thibodeau and his wife, Kelly and Catherine Tait; grandchildren, Bonnie, Jennifer, Kelly, Kristen, Michael, Mark, Nathan, Melissa, BJ, Jessica, Rachael, Taryn, Nicholas and Brandi; a brother, Paul Tardiff; 29 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Paul Thibodeau, a son, Raymond Thibodeau, a son-in-law, Bruce Tait, and a daughter-in-law, Darlene Thibodeau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church in Lincoln with the Rev Myles Cyr presiding. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. For an online guest book please visit www.clayfuneralhome.com
