Lillian E. Rediker

BIDDEFORD – Lillian E. Rediker, 87, of Lucille St., Saco passed away August 19, 2014 at the St. Andre’s Healthcare Facility in Biddeford. She was born October 26, 1926 in Presque Isle, the daughter of Warren and Mary Ellen Kelley Brewster.

She attended local schools and was very proud to be the first one in her family to graduate from high school in 1944.

She was a homemaker, farmer’s wife and foster mother for many years. She moved to the Saco area more than ten years ago.

She enjoyed reading, the company of her mini schnauzer dogs, and being a passionate Christian.

She was an active member of the Presque Isle Wesleyan Church.

She was predeceased by her husband Stanley, in 1987.

Survivors include four sons: Stan Rediker Jr. of Old Town and his wife Debra; Timothy Rediker of Presque Isle and his wife Brenda; Andrew Rediker of Saco and his wife Melinda; and Mark Rediker of Saco; along with two daughters: Maryellen Rediker-Douglas of Trumbull, CT and her husband Andrew; and DeeDee Dickinson of Presque Isle. She had seven grandchildren: Angela, Heidi, Amy, Stephen, Timothy Jr., Desiraie and Amy, and 13 great grandchildren.

Friends and family may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main St., Saco on Saturday August 23, 2014 from 5 to 7 PM.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle, Maine.
