STOCKTON SPRINGS/DUNNELLON, FLORIDA – Anne E. Dyment, 83, died Saturday August 16, 2014 at a Bangor Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 30, 1931. Anne was a great homemaker, she loved and treated people with respect and dignity and people returned the love, respect and dignity towards her. She and her husband Chet were great friends and loved each other dearly. They would summer in Stockton Springs and winter in Dunnellon, Florida.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 42 years George “Chet” Dyment, two children Alan Wingate of New Hampshire and Evelyn Sue Wingate-Jennings of Mississippi, step-children; Bobby, Judith, Stephen, Glenn, Jeffery and Gary, two grandchildren, many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters; Jean and Lois and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and one brother John.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday August 20, 2014 at Searsport United Methodist Church, Main Street Searsport with Pastor Elizabeth Bailey-Mitchell officiating.
