DEXTER AND SWAN’S ISLAND – Beverly A. Turner, 82, died August 12, 2014, at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born on Swan’s Island, June 18, 1932, the daughter of Charles and Clementine (Robbins) Ranquist.

Beverly was predeceased by her husband, William Turner; brothers, Charles, Herbert, Frederick “Ricker”, James “Sammy”, Elbert, Carlton and her sister, Freda.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Beverly Stewart and her husband, Brent Sr. of Dexter and Kim Colbeth of Swan’s Island; 3 sons, Carlton Ranquist and his wife, Eileen of Colorado, Kenneth Ranquist, and Gary Turner and his wife, Cindy all of Swan’s Island; 3 sisters, Rosalie Ranquist of Florida, Betty Tozier, and Elaine Overlock both of Bass Harbor; close friend, Linda Camber of Swan’s Island; grandchildren, Robert, Brent Jr., Amanda , RoseAnna, Travis, Angelia, Julie, Jennifer, Jessica, Colleen, Cameron, Derek and Keyona; 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 10am Saturday, August 23rd, at the Advent Christian Church on Swan’s Island, with Pastor Max Creswell officiating.

Graveside services will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery on Swan’s Island, following the memorial services.
