BANGOR, Maine — No injuries were reported as city firefighters responded to a car blaze on Stillwater Avenue Monday.

Crews were dispatched to the Home Depot parking lot shortly before 1 p.m., Bangor Fire Capt. John Prentiss said.

When crews arrived, fire was coming out of the passenger side of a Ford Focus, but Prentiss said firefighters were able to hose it down within minutes.

Prentiss said an electrical issue is the likely cause of the fire.
