WATERFORD, Maine — A Massachusetts woman reported missing from a campground early Friday morning was found safely, officials said

Christine Loring, 62, had last been seen at 2:30 a.m. Friday, according to Cpl. John MacDonald of the Maine Warden Service. She was reported to be wearing a maroon Harley Davidson sweatshirt, black jeans and black sneakers, according to MacDonald.

Shortly before 9 a.m., MacDonald reported Loring has been found alive and well.

She was located about two miles from where she was last seen by an Oxford County sheriff’s deputy, MacDonald said.

Loring had last been seen on a footbridge near the recreation hall at the Papoose Pond Campground, according to MacDonald.
