Betty F. Cookson

GARLAND – Betty F. Cookson, 76, died July 25, 2014, at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born in Guilford, Nov. 6, 1937, the daughter of Edward and Lillian (Crosby) Clukey.

She and her husband, Norman started Norman Cookson Real Estate 40 years ago and have worked together until the time of her illness. Betty was the office manager and bookkeeper, as well as part owner.

She is survived by her husband of Garland; 2 sons, Glen Fogg and his wife, Judy of Stetson, Jeffrey Fogg and his wife, Jolene of Corinna; 3 daughters, Belinda Stone and her husband, Lloyd of Corinna, Tammy Pullyard and her husband, Randy of Guilford, and Elena Eaton and her husband, Rodney of Garland; a stepdaughter, Terry Mackie and her companion, Barry Humbert of Exeter; daughter-in-law, Peggy Cookson Fogg of Dover-Foxcroft; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and her trusty dog, Mason. She was predeceased by a son, Joey Fogg; grandson, Shawn Curtis; and a great-granddaughter, Alexia Stone.
