ST. AGATHA, Maine — A Frenchville man escaped with minor injuries after he totaled his car Saturday evening, according to Sgt. Brian Harris of the Maine State Police.

Paul St. Peter, 46, was traveling on Marquis Road in his 1998 Ford station wagon just after 5 p.m., when he lost control on the dirt road, Harris said Sunday morning.

The vehicle went off the opposite side of the road, rolled over several times before coming to a rest on its wheels, the sergeant said.

Harris said St. Peter, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, suffered injuries that did not require treatment.

Trooper Andrew Levesque was assisted at the scene by officers with the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department.
