David Milton Raymond Sr.

FORT FAIRFIELD AND STOCKHOLM – David Milton Raymond Sr., 61, died unexpectedly July 23, 2014 at his Fort Fairfield residence. He was born in Stockholm, September 30, 1952, the son of the late Warren and Helena (Viel) Raymond.

Mr. Raymond was a 1972 graduate of Caribou High School and was employed as maintenance technician at Walmart in Presque Isle for a number of years. He was a member of the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Dennis Catholic Church.

He is survived by his two sons, David Raymond Jr. and Brian Raymond, both of Fort Fairfield; three brothers; Gilman Raymond and wife, Mary Jane of Stockholm, Gary Raymond and wife, Mary, and Steven Raymond, all of Caribou; three sisters; Jean Theriault and husband, Philip and Cindy Johnston, all of Caribou, and Barbara Michaud and husband, Leonide of Connor; two grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Mr. Raymond was predeceased by a brother, Daryl and a sister, Jackie Lagasse.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2014 from St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Stockholm, with Fr. Jean-Paul Labrie officiating. Following the interment at St. Theresa’s Cemetery, all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the parish hall.
