BRUNSWICK, Maine — A man was taken to a hospital Wednesday morning after his sedan collided with a U-Haul truck on Pleasant Street, police said.

John Ramsey, 40, of Boothbay Harbor was traveling south around 7 a.m. when he crossed the center line and struck a northbound U-Haul truck driven by Gary Johnson, 62, of Woolwich, according to Brunswick police.

Johnson was hauling another pickup truck behind the U-Haul, according to police.

Ramsey suffered injuries not considered life threatening and was taken to Parkview Hospital, while Johnson was treated and released at the scene.

Three lanes of Pleasant Street were closed for about an hour while the crash was investigated. The accident remains under investigation.
