Valuable coins stolen in Rockland home burglary

ROCKLAND, Maine — Police have a suspect in a home burglary in which valuable coins were stolen.

The break-in was reported shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday at a home on Cedar Street, Deputy Rockland Police Chief Wally Tower said.

In addition to the coins, jewelry and some miscellaneous personal items were reported stolen, Tower said.

While not specifying how the burglar entered the residence, the deputy chief said there was forced entry.
