Support for the arts

Jay Muth (left), vice president and senior business banker, Bangor Savings Bank, presents Buddy Angst, CFO, Community Health and Counseling with a $4,500 grant from the Bangor Savings Bank Foundation to help fund one of its ACHEVE (Arts Can Help Everyone Excel) program. ACHEVE is an in-school dance program for third- and fourth-graders in seven schools throughout the Bangor area. The program uses the arts to provide children with information, skills and support to increase and strengthen positive growth and development that prepares them for healthy life choices.
