LAGRANGE – Albert E. Bouchard, 80, died July 13, 2014 at a Brewer health care facility. He was born Sept 30, 1933 in Old Town, a son of Louis and Celia Bouchard.
Albert attended Old Town schools, following high school, he enlisted in the US Army and proudly served during the Korean Conflict. For many years, he alongside his wife, owned and operated several stores in Lagrange. He was a carepneter by trade, and enjoyed building camps, hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a past member of the VFW.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Gloria ( Trask) Bouchard; six children, Terry L. Downing and his wife, Christine of Leominster, MA, Michael Bouchard and his wife, Brenda of Bangor, Steven Bouchard of Lagrange, Robin Silver and her husband, Barney of Veazie, Crystal Garvey and her husband, Darrell of NC, and Candace Hamm and her significant other, Greg Ouellette of Bradley; 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Joyce of FL. He was predeceased by a grandson, Cody Hamm, three brothers and two sisters.
