BUCKSPORT – George N. Earl, 77, of Bucksport Maine passed away July 11, 2014. He was born to the late Harry and Marjorie Earl on September 10, 1936 in Camden Maine. George attended Camden Rockport High School and joined the military after graduating. He served in the Korean War and was a proud veteran. George had a passion for woodworking and model trains. He spent many hours enjoying his elaborate train sets. He is survived by Eva Greenlaw “Snuggie” the love of his life, his daughter Laurie and Brian Seekins of Bucksport, his daughter Beth Earl of Tennets Harbor, his brother Harry and Beatrice Earl of Rockland, his sister Winifred and Norman Wildes of Rockland. George was predeceased by his brother David Earl. A special thanks to Alice Ireland his loving niece and caregiver who provided outstanding healthcare for her Uncle. A Celebration of Life will be on Monday, July 14th at the Earl-Greenlaw residence 970 Silver Lake Road at 11 a.m. The services will be presided by Peter Remick. Arrangements by Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Bucksport.
