MEDWAY – Stephan Grant Kimball, 69, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 6, 2014 at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Medway, April 5, 1945, the son of Elmer and Margaret (Lee) Kimball.
Steve grew up in Medway and was always a hard worker. He loved to fish, but his ‘pull truck’ was his passion. He was a member of the Maine State Pullers Association. He also enjoyed playing “Texas Hold ‘Em”. He owned his own roofing business for many years but it took a toll on his body so he started driving truck. Steve was a generous person, willing to give the shirt off his own back.
Steve is survived and will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Martha Jean Kimball and her daughter, Amy Kimball and fiancé, Stanley Michaud and their children, Tré, Kate-lynn and Kiara, son, Steve Moulton and wife, Kim and their children, Jordan, Damon, and Dylon; and other children, Jody Tracy, Corey Landry, Stevie, Jr., and Tammy Santiago; a brother, William “Bill” Kimball, sister, Dixie “Fry” J. Lamarr; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Edward. He will be especially missed by his dog, Shadow.
Friends may visit with the family, 12 noon Friday, July 11, 2014, until service time at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, Millinocket where a service will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Regginal Adams officiating. Messages of condolence may be expressed at www.lamsonfh.com.
