BANGOR – Leona E. “Polly” (Smith) Bagley, 79, wife of the late Clifton A. Bagley, died July 1, 2014 at her home in Bangor. She was born Aug. 30, 1934 in Monroe, the daughter of Clyde and Evelyn (Johnson) Smith.
Surviving are two sons, Terry Smith and his wife, Sue of Dexter and Craig Bagley of Bangor; five grandchildren, Sara Smith of Burnham, Teresa Reynolds and her husband, Raymond of Burnham, Travis Smith of Unity, Scott and Ellen Bagley both of Texas; eight great grandchildren, Samantha, Michaela, Jake, Wyatt, Logan, Andrew, Addisyn and Dynalee; one great great grandson, Cameron; two brothers, Lawrence Smith and his wife, Janie and Byron Smith and his wife, Patti; two sisters, Coralee Grass and her husband, Dana, Coleen Putnam and her hsuband, Bradley; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, her parents, six brothers, Clyde, Marlowe, Roy, Alfred, Raynor and Sherwood and two sisters, Mary and Ernell.
A graveside service will be held 9 AM Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta.
