Robert A. Garceau

GREENBUSH – Robert A. Garceau, 76, of Greenbush, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at a Bangor hospital, surrounded by loving family after a long courageous battle with Leukemia. Born and raised in Milford, the son of the late Anna Garceau.

He was the proud husband of Bonnie (Eldridge) Garceau for 44 years. He was a graduate of Old Town High School class of 1956. Bob was a proud Marine, who served during the Korean War in which he received the Bronze Star. Bob was also a member of the Old Town Elks and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife; Bonnie Garceau of Greenbush; two sons, Sean Garceau of Milford, Chad Garceau and his wife, Staci Garceau and their two children, Makayla and Jonathan of Old Town; one daughter, Bobbi-Jean Garceau of Bangor, a special niece, Shannon Smith, her husband, Philip Smith III and their children, Alex and Jasmine along with other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life, 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Greenbush Cemetery, Rt 2 Main Road, Greenbush. Arrangements were made through Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St, Old Town.
