More than 1,200 Emera Maine customers lose power in Milo area

MILO, Maine — A power outage early Monday morning left more than 1,200 Emera Maine customers in the dark in Piscataquis County.

According to Emera Maine’s website, approximately 1,235 customers were without electricity Monday morning.

By early Monday afternoon, the affected customers had their power restored.

The outages were caused after a vehicle struck a power pole in the area, according to the website.
