FALMOUTH, Maine — Adam White, 27, of Rockaway Drive, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court last week to possession with intent to distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

White was arrested in Portland in February 2013, when police stopped his vehicle and found about 400 grams of cocaine in his trunk, as well as a handgun and loaded magazine near the driver’s seat. Officers then searched White’s Falmouth home and found three kilograms of cocaine, more than $13,000 in cash and a loaded handgun.

White faces a minimum of five years and up to life in prison and could be fined up to $5 million on the charges. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation report by the U.S. Probation Office.
