DEDHAM – David A. Brown
Dedham – David A. Brown, 47, died unexpectedly June 15, 2014 at his home in Dedham. He was born Dec. 11, 1966 in Providence, RI, the son of John W. Brown, Sr. and Mary M. (Fatuch) Brown.
David grew up in Rhode Island and moved to Maine with his family in the 1990’s. He had been employed with Downeast Horizons and was a volunteer driver for Penquis Transportation/Lynx. David was spiritual and enjoyed some of the Native American ways, including beading, playing music on the native flute and the 12-string guitar. He was also the family comedian.
David will be missed by his dog, Benny. He is survived by his mother of Dedham; his stepfather, James C. Harrington of Dedham; two brothers, Thomas Brown and his wife, Lori of Dedham, John Brown and his wife, Bernadette of Dedham; one sister, Mary Ann Briggs and her husband, Joseph of Brewer; ten nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins.
A brief memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Riverside Grange, 1266 No. Main St., Brewer where a celebration of David’s life will be held immediately afterward until 4 PM.
