Janice’s loves were many. Her life partner, Peter, and their shared hiking experiences in Baxter Park and the Katahdin area, her extended family, dance, and her cat, Moxie, were at the top of her love list. Her active support of causes, groups, and organizations that she believed in was given fearlessly and passionately.

The last two years of Janice’s life were difficult as she dealt with many significant health issues. The family wishes to thank those at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Eastern Maine Medical Center who provided her with compassionate health care during this time. The end-of-life care that she received from Orono Commons and the Hospice Program was provided in a loving way.
