Audrey deBeauvoir Johnson

BUCKSPORT – Audrey deBeauvoir Johnson, 98, of Bucksport went to be with our Lord on Monday, June 9th 2014. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Audrey was born in New Rochelle, NY to Gladdys Lillian & William Henry deBeauvoir Nelson, Feb. 24, 1916.
She graduated from Girls Latin School in Boston. Audrey worked as an X-Ray technician at Boston Children’s Hospital. She later owned and operated the Pick N’ Poke antique shop in Bucksport. She had a lofe for traveling, antiques, rug hooking, cardinals,crossword puzzles, playing cards and loved to paint. Her day was not complete without a cup of tea. Audrey received the Boston Post Cane Award in March of 2013 from the town of Bucksport.
Audrey is survived by her children; Ted Burbank and his wife Lou, Bob Burbank and his wife Marcia, Albert Johnson and his wife Diane, Christine Reilly and her husband Ron, Paulette Sawyer and her husband Bob, Frank Johnson and his companion Cindy, 25 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
Audrey was predeceased by her two husbands; Ted Burbank and Frank Johnson, her daughter, Phyllis Copp, brother William, sister Bernice and her beloved dog Reilly.
Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14 at North Bucksport United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life will be held directly after at the Edward K Arey Community Center. The family would like to thank Allie and the people at M.A.S. homecare.
